3D gait and running analysis

In order to measure and interpret movements, angles, velocities, forces and moments very precisely in three-dimensional space whilst walking, we use a system comprising several cameras, markers, force plates and EMG sensors.

2D video gait and running analysis

The TEMPLO system enables video analysis using high-speed cameras to accurately capture your patients’ movements. Data from pressure and force plates or EMG systems is recorded synchronously and automatically incorporated into the report.

Instrumented Treadmill

An instrumented treadmill enables the analysis and treatment of walking and running disorders in orthopaedic, neurological and geriatric rehabilitation. Training with weight-bearing relief is possible; it is also suitable for patients with significant functional limitations, both when walking and when running.

FAQ

Can I record data from several systems simultaneously and capture kinematics, kinetics and muscle activity in sync?

Yes. We supply all the relevant measuring instruments, such as force and pressure plates and EMG devices, and integrate them in such a way that all data is recorded synchronously. Depending on the system, there is either an analogue or digital integration option – and we can develop a bespoke solution if required.

How time-consuming and complex is the commissioning of a new system?

We offer commissioning as a service. This allows you to focus on your day-to-day tasks and take delivery of your new system, ready for use and with complete peace of mind. We also provide training for you and your team on how to use the system.

Which biomechanical models are supported by the software?

As well as tried-and-tested models such as the Plug-In Gait, the Oxford Foot Model and the Cleveland Model, you can also use your own models.

Can we use our own algorithms to process our measurement data?

For specific requirements, such as in research, additional functions enable customised approaches – for example, the integration of your own routines from MATLAB or Python directly into the Vicon software.

How does the system assist me with the manufacture, evaluation and fitting of orthoses and prostheses?

Our real-time systems – ranging from simple video solutions to medically certified 3D systems – accurately capture and visualise the relevant information to provide an objective basis for decision-making.
